Day 2

Yesterday marked Day 2 of the "No Flour No Sugar" diet for Mike. We tried using "Ezekiel 4:9" sprout bread as well as their english muffins for breakfast and lunch, packed the day with fruits and veggies, and for dinner I made salmon with lime wedges seasoned with Mrs. Dash's lemon pepper, whole wheat noodles with a butter cream garlic sauce (low sodium too). Banana (no sugar) peanut butter shake for dessert. He also took all of his supplements of Borage Oil and Omega 3. This morning he told me that while he still had pain last night, it wasn't as bad as it had been for so long. This has given me hope that all of this hard work is worth it! Stay tuned for more...

Just curious . . . .where did you find your Ezekiel bread?????

At Trader Joe's, but more locally and conveniently at Evelyn Armentrout's store Country Nutrition. It's a little more expensive there ($1) but that's what I'd spend on gas to get somewhere cheaper, right? ;D
